Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Cloverdale Outpatient Surgery Center in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role offers four 10-hour shifts per week (Mon-Fri) with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

You will prepare the OR pre- and post-surgery, arrange sterile instruments, and support patient care under RN supervision, while upholding aseptic technique and safety standards in a modern outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program (REQUIRED: Degree or Diploma).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of Surgical Technology experience.
• Preferred: Certification in specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery and arrange sterile instruments.
• Support direct patient care under RN supervision and maintain aseptic techniques.
• Uphold patient safety, communicate effectively with the team, and manage instruments and inventory.

Education

Graduation from Surgical Technology program

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

• Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday. No nights, weekends, holidays or call.
• About our clinic:Our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center features eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms, along with 32 beds dedicated to preparation, recovery, and post-anesthesia care. Our services include general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery.
