Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Mountain Point in Lehi, Utah is seeking Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech professionals to join a team known for advanced surgical technologies and patient-centered care. You will work under surgeons and RNs, assisting in procedures, instrument setup, and patient preparation.

Qualified candidates have HS diploma, completion of surgical tech program, BLS, and NBSTSA/CST or NCCT certification. A relocation bonus up to $8,000 may apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• NBSTSA Surgical Technology Certification or NCCT CST certification required.
• One year of surgical setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN.
• Assist during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile setup of instruments and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed.
• Assist in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.

As a Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech you will:

• Work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN.
• Assist surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed.
• Assist in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.

Schedule: 10 hour shifts, 0630-1700, 4 days a week.

On-call requirements: One (1) evening call shift (1700-0600) a week AND One (1) weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 0700-0700) a month.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• Basic Computer skills required.
• One year of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
• Experience in a specialty field preferred.
• HS Diploma/GED required
• Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required
• BLS from the American Heart Association required
• Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery (CST) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Pay Range

$26.37 - $39.90 /hour
