Job summary

Singing River Health System invites applications for a Surgical Technologist Apprentice. The 2-year program blends academics at SRHS Pascagoula and Ocean Springs locations with clinical experience across Pascagoula, Ocean Springs, or Gulfport hospitals.

You will assist in OR setup, manage sterile fields, and support surgeons throughout procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, enrollment in the apprenticeship, and BCLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must maintain enrollment in Singing River Health System Surgical Technologist Apprenticeship program.
• BCLS certification required upon hire and/or transfer.
• Experience not required for this apprenticeship position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and ensure the sterile field.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and handle instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain quality patient care and compliance with SRHS policies and procedures.
