Baptist Health System, Inc. in Elizabethtown, KY is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room to join the full-time team. The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and an 8-hour shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on an alternating 4/5 schedule.

The surgical technologist will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting the sterile field and patient care before, during, and after procedures. BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Competenze

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Job Description

Surgical Tech - Operating Room - $15,000 sign-on bonus!!

• The surgical technologist is a technically trained person who functions as a member of the surgical team and performs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Recent experience as a surgical tech in an Acute Care facility preferred.
• BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.
