Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist I to support a fast-paced operating room team. You will understand the procedures, ensure instruments and supplies are ready, and assist the surgeon throughout cases.

The role requires CST certification, a surgical technology education (or equivalent), and prior experience. Work hours include a 12x3 day shift with 3 days per week, contributing to high-quality patient care in a leading North Texas hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program, military trained, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• 1 year or more prior experience and must have worked as a Surgical Technologist prior to 09/01/2009 (if not a graduate of a Surgical Technology Program).

Job Description

Our Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Surgical Technician I understands the procedure being performed and assures that all equipment, instrumentation, and supplies are available for the case. Articulates the needs of the surgeon. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Participates in setting up and turning over the operating room for cases.

Job Requirements
