Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) and supports the mission and goals of Methodist Health System.

Hours of Work: 0500-1530; Days Of Week: M-F, weekend call. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license or eligibility, and 12 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Texas license to practice nursing or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family education.
• Communicates with team, coworkers, patients and family to ensure understanding.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
