Job summary

Desert Care Network's Hi-Desert Medical Center in Yucca Valley is seeking a Scrub Tech to support the surgical team. You will assist with patient care in a surgery environment and help ensure sterile procedures.

Qualifications

• Post High School Vocational /Specialized training.
• 1 year experience as a Scrub Tech preferred.
• CST Preferred.
• Knowledge of basic surgical practices and techniques including asepsis.
• Demonstrates proficiency in scrubbing.
• Ability to assemble all equipment used during procedures.
• Knowledgeable of cleaning and sterilizing procedures of all surgical instruments and equipment.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate and work effectively with other members of the surgical team.
