Job summary

Desert Care Network's JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA, is seeking an LED OB Tech to gather data for patient assessment and provide basic nursing care under licensed staff. You will maintain clean patient rooms and stock supplies while serving as the department's communication hub.

Responsibilities include assisting with deliveries and C-Section procedures using sterile technique, with a schedule of Days 7am-7:30pm rotating. Prior acute care experience and CST credential are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Certified Surgical Tech (CST Credential) required.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data for patient assessment and provides basic nursing care per plan of care.
• Maintains patient rooms and nursing unit in a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
• Orders and stocks unit and office supplies to meet patient care needs.
• Acts as the communication hub for the department.
• Uses sterile technique to prepare and assist with deliveries and C-Section Surgery.
