Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the surgical team in Kailua, HI. This 13-week contract requires 40 hours per week, with shifts of 10 hours each, and a weekly gross of $1,900 plus a $1,100 stipend.

The CST will prepare the OR, manage instruments and assist the team during both invasive and non-invasive procedures, under surgeon supervision, ensuring sterile, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Current CST credential.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP/ARC-STSA).
• Minimum of 3 years CST experience (within the last 24 months).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Two-Step TB clearance (within 1 year) and chest X-ray where required.
• N95 respirator fit test.
• Vaccinations: MMR, Tdap, Varicella, COVID and Flu.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure sterility for procedures.
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment before, during and after surgery.
• Support the surgical team through invasive and non-invasive procedures.
