Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide patient care by applying the nursing process and ensuring professional accountability for the care of assigned patients. You will collaborate with other departments, protect patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards and mission.

The role requires a nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must maintain current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more certifications may be required depending on unit: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
