Job summary

Rarebreed Veterinary Partners in Vienna, VA seeks a compassionate Veterinary Technician to support boarded surgeons, residents, and anesthesia teams in a dynamic specialty hospital.

Ideal candidates hold an active Virginia LVT/RVT license (or eligibility) with experience in specialty medicine and anesthesia, and an interest in advancing their expertise alongside a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia LVT or RVT license or eligibility for transfer.
• Experience in specialty veterinary medicine and/or small animal anesthesia.
• VTS (Anesthesia or Surgery) encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to animals and support families.
• Perform physical assessments and document findings.
• Assist in surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia.
• Perform in-hospital lab work and prepare specimens.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment; manage inventory.
