Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 34406 Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center - Nursing: Medical/Surgical IU Vascular. The role is full-time with a 36-hour work week and a weekend option: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7p-7a. Base pay range is $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

You will participate in governance, quality initiatives, and care improvements within a dynamic unit. Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program and RN licensure with state privileges.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and care process improvements.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certifications.
• Ability to float to other units as needed and address age-specific needs.
