Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing is required.
- Bachelors in Nursing must be completed within 5 years of hire.
- MI RN license required at time of hire or within standard onboarding window.
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA/ARC) required within 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care per ANA standards and nursing process steps (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Provide holistic patient care for surgical unit patients across bariatric, general, urologic, and colorectal surgeries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
- Promote patient and staff satisfaction and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
