Corewell Health's 4H Bariatric unit in Grand Rapids is seeking a Nursing Technician to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will help with vitals, hygiene, mobility, wound care, and documentation to ensure safe, high-quality care for surgical patients.

The role supports a collaborative team in a 22-bed unit, working night shifts with a 36-hour weekly schedule and opportunities to learn across bariatric and other surgical pathways within Blodgett Hospital in Grand

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Taking vitals and checking blood sugars.
• Bed bathing and ambulating patients.
• Wound care and catheterization assistance.
• Acting as safety attendant for patients.
• Documentation of care and observations as directed by RN.

Education

High School Diploma or Work Equivalent

HOSA, AHA, or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
