AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our unit leadership team. You will prepare monthly schedules to ensure coverage for all cases, support performance appraisals, and help manage patient flow with care and compassion. A Florida RN license and BLS certification are required.

1+ year of critical care or related leadership experience is preferred. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and uphold AdventHealth's caring culture during night

• Assoc. degree in Nursing required.
• RN license with Florida board eligibility.
• BLS certification required.

Job Description:

Prepares monthly schedules for the assigned unit, ensuring coverage for all cases scheduled and add-on cases. Assists with performance appraisals, corrective actions, and counseling. Provides required documentation for personnel files in a timely manner. Utilizes time effectively and accomplish duties within the necessary timeframe with minimal supervision. Other duties as assigned. Communicates courteously with internal and external customers in person or on the telephone. Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments. Participates in hourly rounding using the AIDET technique to improve patient outcomes. Incorporates Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice. Monitors staff compliance with customer service behaviors and reinforce hospital goals for service management. Adheres to organizational standards for dress and professional appearance. Collaborates and demonstrates teamwork in managing patient flow, promoting timely patient placement by following hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer. Assists the Nurse Leader or designee with updates and maintenance of unit records, reports, and forms.

• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of productivity tools
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 1+ experience as rn in critical care or relevant specialty area [Preferred]
• 1+ leadership experience [Preferred]
