Job summary

Baptist Health in Kansas invites applications for the November 16, 2026 Surgical Services Residency program for experienced RNs aiming to enter Operating Room/Surgery, Endoscopy or PACU. The program targets RNs new to OR/Surgery with core competencies in assessment, skills, leadership and teamwork.

Qualified candidates must hold a current FL RN license, have 1 year of hospital RN experience, BLS, and BSN considerations as noted. Transfer forms must be completed in the Employee Self Service.

Qualifications

• Have a current BLS for Healthcare Provider card.
• Have 1 year of current RN experience in a hospital setting (required).
• Have a Current FL RN License.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. All Associate Degree nurses hired after 2/2012 accepted into the program must agree to achieve their BSN degree within 3 years of start date.
• Complete Transfer Acknowledgement Form in the Employee Self Service.
