Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, seeks a Coordinator of Surgical Services Logistics & Sterile Processing to provide operational leadership for sterile processing, case support logistics and regulatory compliance. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, resource allocation, and quality initiatives to support surgical procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum: High School Diploma with on-the-job training or related education.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
Sterile Processing Certification noted as preferred/required in the posting.

Responsibilities

Oversee sterile processing operations and Surgical Services Technician functions to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments, trays and supplies.
Monitor decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage and distribution workflows for case readiness.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and infection control standards.
Coordinate equipment acquisition, maintenance and replacement planning.
Lead and develop Sterile Processing staff and support teams.
Support budget planning and vendor partnerships to optimize operations.
