Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, Florida, seeks a Director of Surgical Services to lead the Department of Surgery. This role manages a 24/7 inpatient unit, directs staffing, and strategic operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The Director will drive budget planning, implement evidence-based practice, and partner with multidisciplinary teams to advance hospital goals and patient outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required from an approved school.
• Current Florida RN licensure or NLC.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC may be required depending on patient population.
• Three years as an RN in a surgical setting with one year of leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee 24/7 inpatient surgical unit operations.
• Lead quality, safety, and patient flow initiatives.
• Manage hiring, coaching, and performance of the nursing staff.
• Assist in developing and monitoring the operating and capital budget; drive cost efficiency.
