Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a Surgical Services Materials Tech to manage inventory and keep the supply room stocked for MOR and ASC operations. You will work with the Material Coordinator to procure supplies, optimize inventory and support the supply chain efficiency.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to handle MMIS transactions, par replenishment, and occasional equipment handling. Day shift, Monday–Friday, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• MMIS receiving transactions
• Par replenishment and stock management
• Requisitions of central store supplies
• Stock put away and clean environment
• Auditing inventory for regulatory compliance
• Handling equipment like motorized pallet jacks (if trained)

Responsibilities

• Perform MMIS receiving transactions using handheld/iPad and desktop devices
• Complete replenishment of par locations through par replenishment methods
• Requisitions commodity/central store supplies
• Assist in stock put away and maintaining a clean environment
• Follow up on order issues and substitutions when needed
• Prepare for surgeries by pulling carts/pick sheets
• Support supply chain projects and reorganizing activities
• Ensure quality and safety by auditing inventory locations
