Job summary

AdventHealth Hendersonville, NC seeks a seasoned perioperative leader to ensure the surgical program delivers high patient satisfaction, maintains surgical utilization, and meets surgeon needs with experienced staff.

You will assume 24-hour accountability for daily patient care in the perioperative departments, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and mentor nurse managers and schedulers while upholding professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license required with CPR/BLS certification.
• Bachelor's of Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Leadership experience in perioperative or surgical setting required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the surgical program delivers high patient satisfaction and utilizes surgery effectively.
• Provide staff management and daily patient care accountability in perioperative services.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing leadership to improve care.
• Develop and enforce policies per AORN, ASPAN, AAMI standards and regulatory rules.
