Job summary

VA Health Care System seeks a Program Analyst to provide advanced administrative, analytic, and coordination support for Surgical Service. You will analyze data from VA systems, prepare reports, and train staff on analytical tools to ensure compliance with facility standards.

You will compile data into management presentations, monitor performance measures, and participate in Lean redesign to optimize administrative processes. Telework may be eligible on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis and reporting using VA systems.
• Ability to train staff in analytical software applications.
• Experience compiling data into presentations for management and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Compiles data into PowerPoint presentations for management review.
• Trains surgical service staff in analytical software applications (VSSC, Pyramid Analytics, CRM trackers).
• Analyses Surgical Service performance measures using VA databases (VSSC, VISTA, Pyramid Analytics, LEAF, dashboards).
• Distributes and analyzes data, prepares weekly reports for providers and residents.
• Monitors trends and reports progress to leadership including ELT-designated requirements.
• Oversees administrative programs, mail, records management, forms management, and timesheets.
• Implements Lean-based process improvements to reduce redundant tasks and improve performance.
