Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years of operating room/surgical experience.
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive leadership team.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and delegation skills.
• Experience in an operating room. Familiarity with equipment and instruments.
• Knowledge of computer systems used in the operating room and materials management.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs the specialty services within their service lines.
• Establishes and prepares to deliver unique surgical services across the continuum.
• Reviews OR schedule; coordinates equipment, implants, and staff education.
• Expedites first case on time starts and maintains room turnover.
• Collaborates with perioperative management and materials management.
• Leads performance management and participates in regulatory readiness.
