Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Surgical Services Assistant to join the Operating Room South team in Springfield. You will perform a variety of technical and supportive duties to assist the surgical team during the patient’s perioperative phase under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred: hospital/medical experience. Strong verbal and written communication, time management, analytical skills, flexibility, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during the perioperative phase under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform a variety of technical and supportive duties to aid the surgical team.
• Support time management and maintain safety and organization in the operating room.
