Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Aide PRN to support life-changing surgeries. You’ll help prepare operating rooms, transport patients, and maintain a clean, safe environment that directly impacts patient safety and quality care.

Your role includes stocking the OR, assisting with turnovers, and monitoring equipment for safety. No experience is required, and Basic Life Support is needed within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock operating room with supplies, equipment, and fluids to ensure procedures start smoothly.
• Transport and transfer patients safely, verify identity, and follow protocols for patients with special needs or equipment.
• Assist with cleaning and turning over operating rooms between cases to maintain a safe, sterile environment.
• Monitor equipment for issues and report concerns promptly to support safe surgical operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the surgical suite and related areas to protect patients.
