ARC Surgery Center South in Austin, TX is seeking a capable Surgical Scrub Technician to join the operating room team. You will assist surgeons, prepare instruments, maintain sterile technique, and ensure accurate case documentation.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years scrub tech experience (or 1+ year with NBSTSA credentialing), and current CPR/BLS. Flexibility with schedule and a team‑oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of Surgical Scrub Tech experience in ASC or OR if no certification.
• 1+ year with certification in surgical technology or NBSTSA/other credentialing.
• Certification maintained (BLS/CPR) throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub tech duties before, during and after surgical cases.
• Assemble supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety protocols in OR.
• Manage instrument cards and surgeon preference cards.
• Maintain documentation and comply with HIPAA/OSHA policies.
