Handles the surgical instruments, supplies, and necessary equipment during surgical procedures. Possesses the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure safe, quality patient care during the operative procedure. May precept new technicians and students to the department. Is proficient in at least one (1) specialty.**Pay Range**Minimum $37.00 Midpoint $37.00 Maximum $38.00*Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.***Position Details**This is a per diem position that will work Saturday NOC shift, with the option to pick up additional shifts.**Experience**\* Required: Minimum two years of operating room experience.\* Preferred: Expertise in one specialty.**Education**\* Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Graduate of Surgical Technology program or military service training.\* Preferred: College coursework with Associate or Bachelor's degree.**Specialized Skills**\* Required: Able to relate and communicate in English professionally with others; respect policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; accept direction. Think critically; work independently; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work collaboratively with surgical team and in setting up and cleaning between cases.**Licensure**\* Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.\* Preferred: Certified Surgical Technician.**Work Environments - Functional Demand:**Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie.
