Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Day shift, full-time Endoscopy Lab-B Surgical Scrub Technician. You will assist surgeons in the operating room, convey sterile instruments, and ensure patient safety under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes sterile technique and knowledge of OR equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, and be able to obtain BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Anatomy and Physiology, sterile technique, medical terminology, instrumentation, and medical equipment knowledge.
• Sterilization techniques; Operating Room instruments and supplies; medical terminology.
• Six (6) months of experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery unit.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities
