The Surgical Scheduling Coordinator at Brown University Health reports to the Surgical Services Business Manager and performs a variety of scheduling tasks across multiple hospital operating rooms, with a focus on coordinating elective and urgent surgeries and pre-admission testing. The role requires discretion when interacting with patients and the ability to collaborate with OR staff, PAT, and physician offices.
Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8a–5p, with a day shift.
The Surgical Scheduling Coordinator reports to the Surgical Services Business Manager performing a variety of surgical scheduling duties with multiple hospital operating rooms, medical admissions, and pre-admission testing (PAT).
