LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists with high-level compounding and dispensing, serving as a resource to technicians and assisting in patient care tasks to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Under pharmacist supervision, the role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and training, with opportunities for professional development and IV admixture training during onboarding.
Under Pharmacist supervision, perform high level compounding and dispensing, acts as a resource for pharmacy technicians and assists Pharmacist to perform other technical or patient care functions to enhance efficiency and patient outcome.
Entry level knowledge, basic employment skills, High School Diploma, GED equivalent or High School Certificate. Must have Pharmacy Technician Certification, college courses desirable but not mandatory.
Requires 3 years of pharmacy experience or currently enrolled as pharmacy/medical school student. Within three months of hire, must successfully complete training related to IV admixture: Phase 1-Classroom training, Phase 2: Practical Lab Training, Phase 3: Mathematical and Practical Examination/Evaluation.
