Job summary

South Shore Endoscopy Center, 659 Washington Street, Braintree, MA, is seeking a Surgical Scheduler to greet patients and coordinate their care. You will handle check-in/check-out, verify insurance, schedule follow-ups, and support efficient daily operations to ensure a positive patient experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of customer service experience, a high school diploma, and are comfortable in a medical office setting.

You will help patients navigate their care by serving as a welcoming first point of contact, coordinating appointments and follow-up needs, and supporting accurate, efficient daily operations. What You'll Do

• Schedule follow-up appointments and help coordinate specialty care and testing.
• Secure required prior authorizations and referrals.
• Reconcile daily batch and global processing to support accurate financial records.
• Answer incoming calls, assist patients, and route calls to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with coworkers, share knowledge, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications
