Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to coordinate surgical and procedural appointments, targeting a 98% accuracy rate in scheduling. You will work with physicians and staff, creating and updating cases in the Scheduling module and printing daily or weekend schedules as needed.

Responsibilities include handling high-volume calls and emails, maintaining timely communications, and adjusting cases per physician requests across multiple labs such as HP OR, ESP OR, Endoscopy,

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of related work experience with knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients for surgical/procedural procedures in the Scheduling module.
  • Print daily OR schedules for the following day and weekend as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls with proper greeting and manage voicemails.
  • Respond to department emails as assigned in department rotation.
  • Rearrange cases upon request of physicians or their staff across HP OR, ESP OR, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath lab.
