Job summary

Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists Loveland is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to support our surgery and anesthesia team. The role involves preparing patients, maintaining sterile operating rooms, and assisting during procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will work closely with surgeons, technicians, and staff to ensure smooth, safe operations and precise anesthesia administration throughout the perioperative period.

Qualifications

• Registered RVT or active provisional license on track for CO DORA registration.
• Minimum 2 years recent veterinary surgery and anesthesia experience.
• Familiarity with FearFree handling techniques.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab work, and anesthesia monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical instruments and equipment, ensure proper sterilization.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthesia equipment.
• Assist with patient restraint and other tasks during appointments.
• Review pertinent information with receiving veterinarian.
• Prepare estimates and review with clients; answer questions as needed.
• Explain medications and postoperative care to clients.
