Job summary

Intepros is seeking an experienced Software Application Engineer (C++/Qt) to contribute to a robotic surgery platform. This hands-on, production-focused role requires independent design and delivery of software components for complex applications used in operating room environments.

You will work in a hybrid setup with onsite days in Fort Lauderdale, collaborating across teams to ensure reliability, performance, and usability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
4+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong C++ and object-oriented programming skills in a production environment.
Experience designing and developing application-level software within an established architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex application software using C++.
Quickly learn the existing architecture, codebase, and development workflows.
Independently develop software components according to defined requirements and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews, unit and component testing, code analysis, and defect resolution.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts throughout the development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot software issues and contribute to improvements in performance and reliability.
Create technical documentation in accordance with R&D and Quality Management System procedures.
Communicate technical decisions, progress, risks, and issues clearly across the team.
