Job summary

Neuralink is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to build and service parts of the R1 Surgical Robot, enabling intracortical brain-computer interfaces. You will work across mechanical, electrical, and optical subsystems in a GMP-focused environment.

You will participate in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of the R1 robotic system, contributing to documentation, troubleshooting, and fixture design as needed. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with engineering are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building in a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Experience with prototypes and production versions of products.
• Ability to interpret and distill technical information.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble surgical robotic devices and systems.
• Maintain and repair R1 Surgical Robot assemblies.
• Troubleshoot robotics using basic electronics, mechanical, optics, and software knowledge.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement work instructions and process improvements.
• Maintain operation records and production inventory.
