Job summary

Neuralink is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to build and assemble the R1 Surgical Robot, supporting intracortical brain-computer interface systems.

You will work across mechanical, electrical, and optical subsystems, maintain records, troubleshoot, and collaborate with engineering to drive process improvements in a GMP-ready environment. A meticulous, adaptive communicator with strong problem-solving thrives in fast-paced medical device development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret and disseminate technical information clearly.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
• Ability to operate in a medical device regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble surgical robotic devices and systems.
• Complete manufacturing and maintenance records for assemblies.
• Disassemble and reassemble robots or equipment for repairs.
• Troubleshoot robotic systems using basic electronics, mechanical, optics, and software knowledge.
• Maintain production inventory and operation records.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement work instructions and process improvements.
• Maintain and improve standard operating procedures.
