Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients preoperatively and pre-surgery.
• Provide education to patients and families about procedures and peri-operative process.
• Prepare patient with IV therapy and preoperative medications.
• Verify surgical site and participate in time-out and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies during perioperative care.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and surgical team for safe workflow.
• Document patient condition changes and interventions accurately.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
