Job summary

McFarland Eye Care in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform surgical nursing duties in our fast-paced center. You will administer medications, monitor patients during procedures, and assist in both pre-op and post-op care while maintaining strict hygiene and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include documenting procedures, coordinating with physicians and staff, managing charts, taking medical histories, and making post-op follow-up calls as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing for RN.
• Current Arkansas RN license and CPR certification.
• Typing ability 35 wpm is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and support pre- and post-operative duties.
• Administer and monitor medications and patient vitals during procedures.
• Complete documentation before and after surgery promptly.
• Review post-op instructions with patient and family.
