Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse - Surgery (RN-Surgery) to provide direct and comprehensive perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital. The RN-Surgery assesses, plans, and evaluates patient care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and education throughout the perioperative period.

The role supports surgical interventions across all ages and requires proficiency with EMR and able to work in a high-stress environment. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-centered nursing care based on standards and the nursing process.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Documents patient care clearly and accurately in EMR.
• Educates patients and families on surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Collaborates with surgical and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
