Job summary

Northwest Healthcare in Tucson seeks an OR RN for full-time, 32 hours per week with no weekends. You will provide patient-centered perioperative nursing care, assist surgeons, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team on the Northwest Tucson Surgery Center campus.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years nursing experience or student rotations, and hold RN licensure with BCLS; ACLS preferred. Benefit-eligible role with comprehensive plans available.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care per clinical protocols.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborate with care team to develop care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving actions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document care thoroughly in medical records.
• Assist in OR before, during, and after surgery.
