Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 5H Surgical department. This full-time, 36-hour week position covers 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), with responsibilities to provide patient care using the nursing process and coordinate care with other departments.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program, Missouri RN license (or compact), BLS certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (BSN, Associate's Degree, or Diploma Program).
• Licensed to practice as RN in Missouri or with a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain professional accountability.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
