Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical unit. Rotate nights on a 36-hour week schedule, with weekend coverage as required.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program degree and a current RN license (state or compact) with BLS certification. A minimum of 2 years of patient care experience is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
