Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• BSN within four years if less than 12 months of experience.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with input from the interdisciplinary team to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Plan and educate with patient, family, and team involvement to meet care goals.
• Implement care by coordinating the interdisciplinary team and managing resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans as needed.
• Promote professionalism, ensure documentation accuracy, and comply with licensure and ethical standards.
