Paris Regional, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery department. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to plan and implement patient plans.

Qualifikationen

• Current state RN license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Kenntnisse

RN license

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS within 6 months

Surgical unit experience
