Paris Regional in Paris, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Orthopedics. You’ll provide expert nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate patient journeys across the care team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
