Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV is seeking a Full Time RN for our Surgery Department. The RN is responsible for daily planning, coordination and monitoring of care with nursing staff and other health care professionals.

You will ensure effective use of resources, maintain standards of care and meet outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. Remaining attentive to individual patient needs, you will document justifications for variations and assist with Nursing Unit management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as an RN in West Virginia or a compact state.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor patient care with nursing staff and other health care professionals.
• Ensure effective use of resources and adherence to standards of care.
