Job summary

Providence Jobs is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to collaborate with the surgeon and healthcare team in performing safe operations and direct patient care within perioperative settings at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. The role requires didactics in first assisting, vein harvesting training, and an active California RN license with BLS.

Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience is required; preferred RNFA background and a bachelor’s in nursing.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of didactics of university based course in first assisting.
• Successful completion of endoscopic vein artery harvesting course.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years as an RN in the Operating Room.
