Job summary

Providence Holy Family Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support intraoperative procedures and coordinate perioperative services. The RNFA will scrub and circulate, assist the surgeon, and help with instrument readiness and staff education.

The role requires an RN license in Washington, CNOR and 3 years of perioperative experience, with enrollment in an RNFA program within 1 year of starting.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
Graduation from a recognized RNFA program within 1 year of starting is required; enrollment upon hire is expected.
WA Registered Nurse license required upon hire.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire (all AHA).
CNOR certification preferred/required for the RNFA role.
At least 3 years of perioperative nursing experience, including scrubbing and circulating.

Responsibilities

Assist surgeon as the first assistant during intraoperative procedures.
Coordinate scheduling and education of clinical staff for RNFA role.
Ensure availability of instruments and equipment and support research efforts.
