Job summary

Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA seeks a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support intraoperative procedures and coordinate perioperative care. The RNFA will assist the surgeon, manage instrument preparation, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a BSN or higher, CNOR certification preferred, and at least 3 years in perioperative nursing including scrubbing and circulating.

Qualifications

• CNOR certification preferred or required within hire period
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required upon hire
• Minimum 3 years experience in perioperative nursing including scrubbing and circulating

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon as RNFA during intraoperative procedures
• Coordinate scheduling and education of clinical staff
• Ensure availability and care of instruments and equipment
• Participate in research efforts related to perioperative care
