Beacon Health System in Kalamazoo, MI is hiring a Full-time Day shift Registered Nurse for our Surgical Department at Kalamazoo Hospital. The role features a 0.90 FTE (36 hrs/wk) schedule and a 7a-7:30p shift with weekend and holiday rotation.

As a Surgical Dept RN, you will provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, implement plans, and collaborate with the team to deliver safe, compassionate care. Michigan RN license and BSN within 5 years are required or in-process.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program and RN license in Michigan.
• Within 5 years of RN employment, obtain BSN or area certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services in the surgical department as assigned.
• Assess patient needs, initiate and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interprofessional staff to deliver compassionate, safe care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
• Support professional development of peers and participate in teamwork.
