Qualifications

• Experience with surgical/OR nursing and patient teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and families, plan teaching, and use teach-back to confirm understanding.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, family, nurses, and clinicians.
• Adhere to medication safety policies and order-writing standards.
• Monitor safety and intervene promptly for patient and staff concerns.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentor teammates within the unit.
